What is the Annual Meeting?
ASA of Baltimore holds its Annual Meeting every June, toward the end of its fiscal/membership year (July to June). Similar to the quarterly Community Action meetings, the Annual meeting also features a speaker, the recognition of members and volunteers, and includes a full dinner and an open bar. Any proposed changes to the bylaws are discussed and voted on by the members at the Annual Meeting. The purposes of the Annual Meeting include, (a) informing the membership regarding the prior year’s activities and financial performance, (b) recognizing members, leaders, and staff for their contributions, (c) describing the plans of the chapter and ASA National for the coming year, and (d) providing valuable strategic insights regarding the status of the commercial construction industry in Maryland.
Attendance at the Annual Meeting is complimentary for prospective ASA members.
