MIKE OSCAR, ASA NATIONAL
ANDREW GRIFFIN, PROVIDENCE STRATEGIES
Michael T. Oscar is the Director of Government Relations for the American Subcontractors Association (National HQ). Prior to his tenure at ASA, Mike worked in the public sector for 12 years, most recently as senior legislative and political staff to U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter. His work on The Hill spanned both Republican and Democratic offices, giving Mike a unique set of contacts and networks to access on behalf of ASA.
Beyond his Capitol Hill experience, Michael held assignments with the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s Carderock Division, the U.S. District Court, the U.S. Department of State’s Office of the Legal Advisor, the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. Currently, he serves on the Franklin Institute’s Board of Governmental Affairs, Father Judge High School’s Development Board, and the Small Business Legislative Council’s (SBLC) Board of Directors based in Washington, D.C.
Andrew Griffin is a native Marylander who got his start working and volunteering on political campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels. With a diverse professional background, Andrew has worked at the highest levels of state government, including the Governor’s Office and the state’s flagship public university. Before joining Providence Strategies, he led the government affairs team at the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, the state’s largest business advocacy organization. Having advocated on a wide range of issues before the Maryland General Assembly and the U.S. Congress, Andrew is looking forward to bringing his expertise to ASA of Baltimore. He received his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park.
(Optional) Business Practice Interchange (BPI)
All ASA Connect events (except the Annual Meeting in June) are followed by an optional, members-only, attorney-moderated, confidential Business Practice Interchange (BPI) session to discuss upcoming or ongoing projects, people, pitfalls, and processes.

Sponsorships
Sponsorships include one ticket and may be purchased at any time up to one week prior to the ASA Connect event in order to allow time for the design and printing of the sponsor’s sign.
When Can I Register?
Registrations for each ASA Connect event are available at least five weeks prior to the ASA Connect event, up to the end of the day prior to the event.
