EXECUTIVE ROUNDTABLE PROGRAM
Being a part of a peer group is a recognized “best practice” for owners, CEOs, and other high-level officers and executives. Having access to the shared experience of other owners and executives is a high-value activity that is well worth the time taken out of the daily pressures of operating the business. The annual fee to participate in monthly peer group meetings is $3,000.00.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
- Provide association members with access to the high-value benefits of participation in a “peer advisory group” structure, supported by the association as a trusted resource
- Position the association as the provider of benefits – essentially, the pool of participants will be an “association within the association”
- Increase engagement with the association of the owners and key executives of association member companies, many of whom do not participate in other programs or events
- Increase the value of association membership and help to recruit new members
BENEFITS TO MEMBERS
- Trusted, personal relationships with executives and owners of non-competing firms
- Facilitated, “closed-door,” private peer-to-peer sharing of time-critical “construction industry business” problems and potential solutions – “someone to talk to” in difficult times – an emotional connection with similarly-situated executives
- Discussions follow the world-leading Vistage CEO Group “issue processing” model to get the highest value outcome for the executive in the shortest time
- The group holds each member accountable for their decisions to solve vexing problems, grow as leaders, and take advantage of strategic opportunities
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Each peer group will comprise seven to 12 owners of ASA of Baltimore member firms whose primary business operations do not compete with any other firm in the same group.
No more that 25% of any peer group may be owners or executives of business services firms.
A group will not “launch” (participants may meet but will not be charged a fee) until there are at least seven group members.
Warren Quinn, CEO of HUMANS AT WORK and the Executive Director of ASA of Baltimore, will facilitate the monthly meetings and provide breakfast.
Each group will meet for four hours each month from 7:30-11:30am, rotating through the members’ locations, or at other locations agreed upon by the group members and the facilitator.
