How do we solve the shortage of quality skilled labor?
1. reach out to local training programs
We have local programs like Junior Achievement (helping gain trades knowledge and experience early- starting in middle school), ABC Apprenticeship Programs, and Project Jumpstart.
2. recruit from people outside the construction industry
As consumer buying power is pushed to the limit, many potential workers will end up looking for other jobs or careers, opening the door to recruitment in the construction industry.
3. check back with former employees
Some potential construction workers that have left the workforce may decide to jump back into the industry to fix household budget shortfalls.
